The Sydney Harbour Bridge was completed in 1932. It is a toll bridge southbound
(entering the city), but is free northbound. Recently the rush-hour traffic has been
relieved by the completion of a tunnel under the harbor. |
| This picture was taken near the cruse ship terminal. You can see the stone pylons
in this photo. The nearest one is open to the public for a small fee. Inside is a museum
with a lot of photos of the building of the bridge. At the top is a wonderful view. A
number of pictures in this series were taken from the top of the bridge pylon. |
